Public Health – Dayton & Montgomery County, in conjunction with the Greater Dayton Hospital Association and the Southwest Ohio Health Collaborative, is conducting focus groups to assess the health needs of the community.
These sessions will be specifically for transgender individuals.
The information collected from the sessions will also help shape a new program at PHDMC that is aimed to address LGBTQ health needs.
Currently, there are two sessions scheduled:
Tuesday, June 26, 2:00 pm – 3:30 pm
Tuesday, June 26, 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm
Each session will take place at the Greater Dayton LGBT Center (24 North Jefferson Street, Suite 200) in downtown Dayton.
Food will be provided along with a $10 Kroger or Target gift card. This is an opportunity to tell health officials what important health issues are not being addressed enough in your community and what more could be done. To participate, please RSVP to Jerry Mallicoat - LGBTQ Health Initiatives Manager at or 937-224-3727 before June 20, 2018.
