The Local Office on Minority Health will be hosting a virtual engagement in commemoration of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, called "Injustice in Health Care: Past, Present, & Future". The virtual event will be themed around Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s famous quote: "Of all the forms of inequality, injustice in health care is the most shocking and inhumane", and will focus on the relevance of that statement historically, in the present-day, and looking ahead to the future. It will be formatted as a 'lunch & learn' live webinar, with an educational presentation by Dr. Kierra Barnett from the Ohio State University Kirwan Institute for the Study of Race & Ethnicity.
