• Introduction:

    Each year the State of Ohio’s Auditors Office conducts a routine audit of Public Health finances. The goal of the audit is to verify that Public Health – Dayton & Montgomery County’s financial statements present fairly, the cash financial position of the organization. The audit also includes evaluating the appropriateness of management’s accounting policies and the reasonableness of their significant accounting estimates, as well as an evaluation of the overall financial statement presentation.
